Samantha Wilson, LCSW
If you are struggling, you are not alone. Choosing to begin inner work is a courageous step-and it can also feel scary. I know what this feels like from personal experience, and it is deeply important to me to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported.
I’m Samantha, a licensed clinical social worker with a virtual private practice serving clients throughout New York and New Jersey.
I support young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and major life transitions-particularly when they are carrying high responsibility, ongoing uncertainty, or emotional overwhelm. I bring extensive experience in oncology-informed psychotherapy, supporting individuals impacted by cancer within hospital settings. I also work with healthcare professionals in high-stress caregiving roles and women during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
My approach integrates somatic therapy with a psychodynamic approach, helping us gently explore how past experiences and the different parts of you may be shaping your present responses to stress and transition. Together, we pay close attention to how these experiences live in both your mind and body, helping your nervous system settle and move out of survival mode so you can feel safer and more grounded in daily life.
My priority is supporting nervous system regulation, which can lead to healthier relationships, greater authenticity, meaningful goal-setting, and an improved quality of life. Therapy can feel intimidating, but you deserve the chance to feel more open, grounded, and free.
